Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of an Russian Indian mother and an Afghan Hindu father. Mahendru is proficient of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, speaks fluently of both Indian and Russian. In 2011, she devised choreography that gained her the opportunity to appear on German TV as a Russian snowmaiden. Then, she changed into another Indian dancer. She graduated from high school in New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. After the high school year, she took acting classes at HB but left for improv classes at Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. She was raised within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as an Russian-speaking mother Olga. Her family relocated to East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she turned 13 and stars along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was her best-known role. The actress is famous for her recurring roles in The Following on Fox, The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
