Alana De La Garza was born in the year 1976 by a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother. She has been a popular actress on TV. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas, where she studied the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas prior to moving to Orlando, Florida. There she played a range of roles from local independent films to international commercials. In spite of the minor parts, she realized acting as her true passion. After moving from New York and in 2001 she landed her first part in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was in the 2004 short-lived series The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to share the screen with some famous TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Later, she starred in her role in the Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. This particular character brought De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The year 2008 was the time she won an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding performances in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character on CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko, as well as spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. In the role of the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after just two episodes. Milano. She has a Italian father, as well as a brother Cory which is a years older than her. The family she was raised in was an orthodox and religious family.
